Just received my LE 1000 battery back up from Best Buy. Plugged it into the wall to charge it without powering it up. Did not turn it on? My question is I don’t see any lights do I need to press the on button? Instructions said it’s optional. null

To see the lights you do have to power it on. Push and hold the on button for about 2 seconds

You will need to plug in the UPS to the wall and let it charge for 8 hours, to turn the unit on press and hold the power button for 2-4 seconds. Thank you for your question.

Avoid this company like the plague. I had both LE1000DG fail. They are giving me the run around. Looked on all the BBB/Trustpilot sites and they have the worst ratings and support. I am now on week 1 of the replacements sitting at their warehouse yet to be sent, but the label was printed. I spent 2 hours with chat support to be told I'm SOL. Stick with APC.
