Will this work to provide backup power to my modem. I rely on the modem for land line phone service and want to maintain that service in case of a power outage. How long would the backup battery last using it only for telephone service on the modem. null

This Uninterruptible Power Supply would work with just a modem, though your runtime will vary quite a bit. Bigger units will of course provide more runtime on a smaller load, but we would need more information to provide accurate runtimes. It should work fine for that purpose. But I think it may only last a short time. Like maybe 30 minutes. I’m not sure of the drain that your phone/modem would have on this battery.

It kept my internet and Wi-Fi going for for maybe a few hours. I didn’t really time it. I was actively using the Wi-Fi & internet the entire time.
