Hello Peggy, This product is meant to be used as backup power when the utility power has failed. We suggest looking into power banks or power stations as this may better fit your needs. Thank you!

If the only thing plugged in is the iPad you may get more time (est 30-60 minutes) but it’s not a replacement to the internal iPad battery.
