“If a fuse blows, does the backup battery kick in immediately. The primary use will be for my game consoles. I need a uninterrupted source of power and at no point can I lose power to my game console, I need just enough time to save my game.”

Yes you should not have any interruption at all!! The power should last at least 30 minutes! Just make sure you plug into the battery outlet side!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All I can add to your question is i mostly have this hooked up to power my wi-fi, and I have never had to wait for it to reboot! And I also have my computer hooked up to one and never powers down when the power goes out!
