“My 850VA is now about 5 years old. I noticed in the morning the surge protector is off. It only seems to happen at night. This started about a month ago and occurs about once every two weeks. Is this a battery issue or should I just replace the unit?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you downloaded and installed the CyberPower PowerPanel software? That may give you some clues as to what is happening. However, after 5 years, I wouldn't be surprised by battery issues, any more than with a car. I haven't had my unit long enough to have battery issues so I don't know how easy it is to change the battery, but I might be tempted to replace the unit anyway if you are in an area with an erratic electric supply. Each triggering can degrade the internal components.
