This can be used to power any device that works with a standard electrical outlet. So, you can power a heater and fishtank and air blower. The amount of runtime you will get from this UPS is dependent on the combined power draw of all your devices. For example, if your power draw is a 1000 watts total, you will only get a small amount of time where it can power all of your devices. A heater is usually a big power draw. You'd have to look at the max wattage of your heater and assume that that will be the power draw of that heater. It varies a little bit but safe to assume that the heater will be the big power draw.
