This is where I had a problem with mine it says that support 7.1 surround sound which it does supposedly but I have an older set of 5.1 Logitech surround sound speakers and you have to call the motherboard manufacturer and I'll walk you through how to hook up your speakers the surround sound speakers do not work the way they would with their Hook up so eventually I am going to get a 5.1 surround sound sound card and put that in the built-in card I mean it like I said it works but not to my satisfaction so that 7.1 was a little misleading as its it just doesn't perform as what I would like it to

If you want sound, you would need external speakers or a headset.
