“I'm planning on saving up a bit more for about a month to get this as my first pc (that also includes a monitor) but my friend recommended I replace the ram stick with a 16gb when I get it. How do I do that? Does the stick I get have to be compatible?”

If your working hard to save money for a good system. Please research this company and system first. it has hundreds of complaints with BBB and on google. ours lasted 2 months and their customer service for so called warranty is a joke. And the return date for BB is passed so we have a 900.00 Paper weight Now. Just trying to keep you from loosing good hard earned money.

The best way to purchase more RAM for the PC would be to look up the serial number on the side of the RAM online and purchase the exact same stick.
