"Most" companies use what's called Instapak of some form, a foam bag that expands and conforms to the interior of the case to fill any open gaps that has critical components like the GPU to add support during shipping. If installed correctly, nothing inside the PC should move while being shipped and the customer can simply remove the padding when they receive their product. Hope this helps.
