This PC supports upgrades which are supported by the motherboard. The mother board contains an AM3 socket and only accepts DDR3 RAM. If you want to upgrade to a Ryzen you will need a mother board with an AM4 Socket. To upgrade to ryzen 7 you will need an AM4 motherboard DDR4 RAM and possibly a new CPU cooler.
