A:Answer You have to realize this is sorta of a 'loaded' question... No, I don't believe the microprocessor is not upgradeable, BUT the RAM, hard drive, video card can be upgraded... Beware that you don't 'overload' the power supply when upgrading, but a quick call to Best Buy/Mfg. should solve that issue... We purchased this unit for our grandson and his is EXTREMELY pleased with this system although we think he will eventually 'outgrow' it...very common when purchasing a 'gaming' computer and becoming a 'gaming fanatic'!!! ;>) Still this system is a great unit for 'starter' system or one for those who just want to play video games and not making this a life long/full time hobby!!! System was extremely easy to set up and our grand son was up and playing his favorite games in no time!!! Have fun and enjoy!!!
