• It comes with a 1TB 7200rpm hdd. If you meant CD/DVD drive it doesn't.

• While I cannot speak for the company, those reviews that speak of their PCs not shipping with the hard drive are very VERY rare mistakes and are usually rectified quite fast. The hard drive type is not listed under the specifications but it is around 1 TB of storage. There are more slots for more storage (HDD or SSD) if you wish to add more.
