A:Answer Short answer, yes. Long answer, (feel free to ignore), upgrading to the fx 8350 without upgrading the gpu or ram will give you a boost in fps for sure. Running on the highest possible settings in 1080p will average at around 52 to 53 frames per second. However playing on Medium settings, even in 1080p will give you over 100 fps nearing to 105 as the highest. High settings will probably net somewhere in the 70 fps range but that can differ. Either way the answer is yes, upgrading to the amd fx 8350 will make fortnite run smoother and will boost your fps. I hope this helps!
