Will this device give off a loud alarm?? My gargae has allot of junk in it will it detct a dog? Will it detect his presence if he stays still?”

It detects motion and you will be alerted by your smart phone not a siren box or speaker. There are sensitivity levels from very sensitive to not so much. Like you don't want to see a mouse run across the floor but you want to see a dog... etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Motion detector only detects motion (no alarm). However, you can use IFTTT to send your phone alerts when it detects motion. If you plugged it in up on the ceiling, perhaps where your garage door opener is plugged in (assuming you have one, if not you can run an extension cord up there), it should detect motion. It will not detect your dog's presence if he stays still, but it should alert as soon as he got in there, and every time he moved around enough.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can put it where ever there is outlet might need a wifi extender. It only detects motion you can place it low or high by using an extension cord if the outlet isnt in a ideal space. It will notify you by your smartphone not alarm.
