I purchased a new laptop recently to replace a 10 year old laptop Best Buy was able to transfer everything that was on the old laptop to the new laptop.

Of course they can. I just bought a new laptop with Windows 11 and the Geek Squad set it up with all my files, photos, and documents from my 7 year old Windows 8 laptop.
