I had Geek Squad back up the had drive on my Lenovo which had crashed. You can purchase an external hard drive there ( mine was $40 but it depends upon how much data you have) and the transfer was $99, although it could vary. Then with a new computer you reload your data onto the new computer. But if you are buying a new Apple product from them, it might be less expensive and if you get the Apple Care plan for the new computer, and it might be included. Talk to a BestBuy rep in the store to get full info.
