A:AnswerGreat question, Kenny! The cameras can be seen through the Defender 247 app anywhere where you have a good data connection. The system itself does not come with audio but you do have the option of adding a third party microphone. We do always suggest checking the laws in your state or province before adding a microphone component!

A:AnswerThank you for your question tireman1205! The DVR does need to be connected to and ethernet cable that is less that 30ft in length. We do not recommend placing the cameras more than 120ft away from the DVR in order to ensure optimal viewing quality!
