QuestionI have a camera system now it's an HD 1080p 16 channel with 16 bullet cameras model HD2 t16 B16 is this DVR compatible with the cameras that I have installed now or do I have to take down all the cameras and replace them with the new cameras

- Answer Diceman, thanks for the question. You would need to replace the cameras. The 4k System uses updated cameras and wiring that has different shielding. - Answer Great question, Kenny! The cameras can be seen through the Defender 247 app anywhere where you have a good data connection. The system itself does not come with audio but you do have the option of adding a third party microphone. Question1. Do you have to have internet/wifi to view cameras on phone? 2. How long are the cables? I have a 25000+ sqare feet building to put cameras in and 60 or 100 foot cables will not do the job? thanks

- Answer Thank you for your question tireman1205! The DVR does need to be connected to and ethernet cable that is less that 30ft in length. We do not recommend placing the cameras more than 120ft away from the DVR in order to ensure optimal viewing quality! Thank you for your interest in Defender!
