It is a POE system...I have mine running 100 feet. Don't know that it matters.

Since this is a PoE (Power over Ethernet) system, all cameras receive both power and data through the ethernet cable connected directly to the NVR. The power supply is connected to the NVR, not the camera itself. So, if we're referring to the maximum distance between the camera and the NVR, the recommended limit is up to 180ft using standard Ethernet cabling.
