“Should these speakers be placed as L/R surround or surround back and at what height”

• I only have a 5.1 system, so I made them surround back, and I placed them at ear level.

• Surround or surround back is your option. I suggest placing them slightly above your ear level.

• Used these speakers for l/r surround and overhead rear presence speakers. Surrounds are on stands 30" roughly at sitting ear level. Best to use these for all surround applications if you can afford it. Awesome speakers!

• You want them designated as surround. I had mine hooked up as back...which seems logical, but my yamaha reciever wouldn't use them. So theyve gotta be connected to your system as surround.
