• The two I purchased from BB were both the A03 revisions. No issues since I purchased them earlier this year.

• A2 and above revisions support hdcp.

• Yes, It says on the side of the box which version it is. Mine was the A03.

• A03 is the latest and does not have the HDCP issues. Be sure you get the A03. Not sure about the screen coating issue as I have not seen what an A01 or A02 looks like.

• I'm not sure which revision I received but I do know that in order to get 144hz you have to use DP (as opposed to hdmi) and being that DP does not carry audio HDCP compliance is not applicable.

• I got mine as an open box return at Best Buy (So Purchased through .com and returned in store) and it's revision A03. I haven't had any issues with playback personally.

• This is a great question that I would also like to know the answer to. I emailed bestbuy about this hdcp problem, asking if they could tell me what the serial numbers on the boxes were. Here is the response: "Thank you for contacting Best Buy. I understand that you want to know the serial number of Dell - 27" LED GSync Monitor. Let me assist you with that. I would like to inform you that you can check the serial number of that items to his back itself. We appreciate your business. For any other concerns, you may visit our Help Center at www.bestbuy.com." So it's up to the people who have bought this monitor recently to inform us as to what version they are shipping.
