“I'm reading mixed reviews about this monitor and great answers to my questions. I definitely like my blacks to be black. Not washed out. I decided I wasn't going for the curved monitor (well not completely decided) any suggestions on a different monitor?”

Honestly, the blacks are washed out slightly right out of the box. BUT if you specifically look up the monitors calibration guides that people use, it’s a huge improvement. I like my blacks to be super black as well, and while it isn’t as good as the asus PG monitors, you can’t beat the quality at a $300 price point.

They have the perfect balance of vibrant colors and great dark shades and responsiveness for gaming. Well worth the money.
