you would just want one or the other plugged in, i'd recommend using only display port because hdmi cannot achieve 144hz

You change the input through the OSD menu, but there are also 2 custom buttons that can be assigned to switch inputs directly.

you have to toggle through the menu - it's quick so no complaints. A remote would be ideal but then again it would cost more..

You can jump between them without combing through the whole menu by pressing the button next to the power button (I believe).

I'm assuming you have the HDMI plugged into one device and the DisplayPort plugged into a different device. There is no predefined macro for this, you would have to go through the menus like you would with a tv to switch the input settings afaik.
