Yes has an sd card slot. Yes can download load other software but first have to take it out of S mode. Search on how to do that as its a few steps.

The computer supports the following card types: ● Secure Digital (SD) ● Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) ● Secure Digital Extended Capacity (SDXC). You can use the system outside of the US, however, the laptop does not have an international warranty. This laptop comes with Windows 11 Home in S Mode operating system, Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. To record the screen, you can install a screen recording application on this laptop. If you want to install an application that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode.
