“Can you plug a mouse, speakers & flash drives in the left side USB ports? In one review, it stated you can't, you can only plug them into the right side. I use a lot of flash drives at the same time & would need to plug them in the left side.”

Yes, you can plug in an external speaker via the 3.5 MM headset port on the left along with the flash drive, the system has 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports on the left and one USB 2.0 port to the right.
