A:AnswerNo, build only allows 1 internal file storage device, in a 2.5" space. So either HDD or SSD (if m.2 type, would also need adapter).
(There is 1 m.2 slot inside, which is occupied by the wireless Wi-Fi + Bluetooth card. So if that can support SSD, then you would have to remove the internal wireless networking.)
A:AnswerSound quality surprisingly good & decent.
The speakers volume can be adjusted to decent loudness (most speakers at this price level don't have high fidelity sound, compared to earphones port or HDMI out; these speakers are decent & can hear, not weak or muffled or hard to hear). The speakers are technically on bottom, yet are in front & effectively face forward also.
Photos. Only drawback may be laptop screen, not able to render enough detail or fidelity well, for higher definition photos (I could see the individual dots/pixels too much; depends on your eyes. Even made some text rendering appear irregular. On all 15" screens @ 768p (720p HD).)
Use better external monitor, if so.
If want better quality from laptop screen, consider 1080p FHD (maybe 900p HD+); & IPS. Cost jump for this. (Recommend search exact computer model (or code like UPC, EAN GTIN), for tests & reviews online for screen/panel quality, many low quality displays being installed in laptops by manufacturer's, for about same cost as better quality. May as well find better quality for about same cost. )
This is a great deal for this model new, below what I can find anywhere else, even manufacturer. Especially when price is $320 or less.
I find overall build quality & features good for this price; except screen, WiFi & Ethernet port. Costwise still good, hard to find better specs & build close to this cost.
A:AnswerI had a similar problem with external speakers that I connected via the headphone connection. I was able to test the speakers via Realtek and they worked. However, I was not able to select the speakers as my default. I even updated and downloaded drivers, etc.
A:Answerfor the price I paid for about 350 dollars was great, but it does not run as fast, the speed is not as fast as I thought it would be. the dell inspiron is plastic not metal. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI bought this computer about a week ago and was wondering if it plays Sims 4. It does and the graphics aren't completely bad. Its almost like Sims 3 graphics just a big tad better
