Most Chrome Books come with around 16GB of storage and this Dell has 500GB. As long as she does not try to store hundreds of movies it should be sufficient. Also of note is the fact that this Dell has Windows as it's operating system so she can use the full version of Microsoft office suite which most grade schools and colleges actively use. There is a student version of Microsoft Office that I highly recommend for school use.
