Does it have a back-lit keyboard? Battery life? null

Sorry, it doesn't 6-8 hours depending on usage conditions.

Yes this computer does have a backlit board, took me awhile to figure out how to use it though as it is not as simple as it may look, the keys glow red while the w, s, a and d glow white, making it easier for games such as overwatch to play. To turn the backlight out you need to hit the f button next to the Windows button at the bottom and then hit the f4 button at the top to make it light up.
