Yes, the touch mode works in portrait mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's primarily supposed to be used in landscape mode. There are orientation settings within the Display settings. I don't recall seeing anything related to portrait mode. It's touch screen, so it should work. As I write this, I am not using my laptop to give you a direct answer.
