I bought an extended warranty through Dell itself. Depending on which plan you take they will either try to repair over the internet or send a tech to your house. I have Dell computers in the past and if it was still under warranty which my old one was, dell could not fix the problem remotely and they sent a tech out the next day and he took care of the proble. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I hope this answers your question...

If there are any problems you can communicate directly with Dell and if for some reason they cannot fix it remotely they will send out a tech to repair it. WELL WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY.....
