Not sure yet about 4K, but I am using it with a HDMI cable and connecting to a Samsung 4K Ultra tv for the monitor, works great. Downloaded the video driver to the latest from AMD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The rx580 (typically paired w the ryzen 7) does not do well with 4k from what I have researched. It will run at about 20 FPS. If you aren't gaming them yes, hook up an HDMI and go to town. It would definitely help you get an HDMI rated for 4k. If you are gaming, focus on 1080P for best performance.
