I would say it is a flaw!  I think the machine is great, but the clean-up...which they tout as next to nothing...is a big falsehood!

Thank you for your question. The TrueBrew Coffee Maker is designed to catch used coffee grounds in the reservoir the same way it would if the unit used average, paper filters.
