A:AnswerYou should be able to connect them with out much problem, Make sure you choose the right speaker wire since it looks like you would have to buy a wire with connector at one end and bare wires at the opposite.
A:AnswerThe S540BT outputs 70W per channel at 8 ohms. So, these speakers would work with the AVR, but the S540BT doesn't have the power to really drive these speakers.
A:AnswerThe S540BT does not support network connectivity, but it does have Bluetooth. You can pair a Bluetooth device to the AVR and playback the SXM App from the BT device to the AVR. The first model in our lineup that supports network connectivity and HEOS is the AVR-S650H.
A:AnswerYes you would but I recommend putting it into the receiver. When it's behind the TV the steamer can overheat and the receiver has 5 hdmi ports with a media station.
A:AnswerThe S540BT outputs 70W per channel at 8 ohms and 90W per channel at 6 ohms. This should work with the speakers, but not sure if it will drive them. None of our AVRs allow for a connection with a passive sub. You would need to use a powered sub or install a sub amp.
A:AnswerThe S540BT doesn't have dedicated Front L/R pre-outs. It only incorporates pre-outs meant for use with a sub or subs. The first AVR in our lineup that would have a full Pre-Out section would be the AVR-X3700H.
A:AnswerI am very sorry but this is a very confusing question. This is a surround sound receiver that connects to a home theater. Not sure why you would want to connect a soundbar which in itself is a speaker system for home theater. My apologies but maybe I am just not understanding the question. I just wouldn't connect a soundbar to this at all.
A:AnswerDon't use it with a soundbar. Defeats the purpose of both.
Either passive speakers and powered sub with this, or go the soundbar route. One or the other. Not both.
