“I am looking to buy a new Denon 6700H but all of them for sale say they are a 2020 model. Does this mean they were made in 2020 and will still have this hdmi 8k bug or are they newly made but just made as a 2020 model as there was not a newer model made”

Hello and thank you for your question. 2020 was the original release date of the model. The need for the free HDMI adapter is only required for early released models for playback of 4K/120 Gaming consoles. New models do not require the HDMI adapter. The AVR-X6700H is a current model still in production.
