• I believe it is under the platter - you select it's position before sliding the platter down on the spindle and slipping the belt over the drive capstain. (They make it easy with a piece of plastic under the belt to pull it gently away from the underside of the platter while keeping it free of contaminants from your skin).

• The EQ switch is located under the platter as notated on page 2 of the owner's manual.
