They are 10 day sensors, you have to have a prescription. It's best to see an endocrinologist, they may be able to start you out with a sample kit which will give you a transmitter and possibly a receiver. If your phone is compatible it's better. Most insurance covers it through a pharmacy or a medical equopment supplier. The Dexcom website also has programs and valuable info on financial assistance if needed.
