Thinking of this combo and also thinking of the designed pelican case. Is the regular controller approximately the same size as the smart controller? In other words, will the smart controller fit in the pelican space reserved for the regular controller? null

Thank you for your inquiry. The size of the regular RC-N1 controller is 150mm*103mm*65mm, the smart controller is 177.5 x 121.3 x 40 mm (without unfolding the antennas and attaching the sticks). There may be a slight deviation. Thank you for your attention.

No the two controllers are different. I have a case with both controllers.

No. Smart controller is much larger. Most cases for the DJI Air 2s have a removable insert so the smart controller will fit.
