Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bottom of my drone gets very hot! If that's where yours is heating up, then it's normal. The bottom is made from aluminum and resembles a CPU heatsink. Mine gets so hot, it feels like it would burn my hand it I touch it too long. From my research, it's normal. My advisors suggested that I do not hover in low altitude for too long. Try to keep moving in higher altitudes. That helps keep the drone cooler. Hovering in low altitude causes heat buildup. I hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Great question Benjamin. It does run hot but it is not unbearable and I have not found where it takes away from the awesome footage you can capture. I have flown it using all 3 batteries in the fly more combo and it doesn't seem like it will overheat. This is my first DJI drone so I don't really know how normal that is. I didn't understand your last part of your question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fly and enjoy your drone. It has a heat sink and a cooling fan. If you don’t hear the fan going then worry. If it gets warm that only mean you’re flying full tilt. You don’t have to fly 43mph all the time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it's just sitting it will get hot so I'd advise to not turn it on until your ready to fly. It's made to cool itself in flight.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The unit gets very hot on the bottom, that is why there is a heatsink there and yes, you can burn yourself, and yes, that is normal. Between the high discharge rate, computers processing video, the remote transceiver for video and RC as well as the computer for stabilization and other control, it is no surprise. Mine also gets hot. If you fly in hot weather, it will likely land, so I would advise not flying above 100F if you plan on doing back to back flights with all 3 batteries.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The heat coming from the bottom is normal. Remember you have moter that is strong enough to move four propellers and lift a drone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one also and mine does not get hot. I would get yours checked.
