• Hi Dave, The max transmission distance is based upon how far the receiver is rated to work when there is no interference.

• Long distance flights require RC control not wifi, and still requires clear line of sight. Electromagnetic interference will also reduce maximum control distance. I recommend you read all documentation thoroughly several times.
