A: I still have not received my FMC from BB. Ordered 10 Oct and the site says it "should ship on 26 Nov" however, as of today 8 Nov the DJI store is saying the FMC will ship within 7 to 10 business days while the drone by itself will ship within 3 to 5. Makes me wonder why BB still hasn't started shipping pre orders?!?!?!?!
A: The Base Option of the Platinum is stocked on the Best Buy website, get yours fast. It's not on pre-order option. So you should get it in 4-6 days.
A: Hi Dave, The max transmission distance is based upon how far the receiver is rated to work when there is no interference.
Q: Does it take good high quality pictures?
A: The pictures on this drone can shoot in Raw which is made to have a editing adjustment. From what I’ve learned if you go the Raw route or the other routes. All the footage can produce the highest level of quality to create beautiful and professional looks.
A: I am new to the Mavic Drone, But Yes, it has this feature. You set a box around the target and the drone will follow the target.
A: Hello. Best Buy does stock the DJI Mavic Pro. This product is the DJI Mavic Pro Platinum.
Q: Can you fly it during a light rain?
A: It will survive, a few minutes, but rain will ultimately damage the drone. Most drones, actually. The motors are exposed to the open air so are the internal circuits. (A fan pulls air into the unit for cooling.)
A: Ordered the Mavic Pro Platinum on November 21, 2017. By the following day the order status was Estimated Shipping Date Nov. 28-Dec 5. On November 24, 2017 I got the alert that the Mavic was shipped with FedEx Tracking included. Will arrive to me in So Cal. on 11/24/2017. From what I was told in-store online pre-orders get priority, and no ETA on availability in-stores. Might be better to buy things separately if you don't want to keep waiting, like I did.
