Does this microphone work with an iPhone X? null

No and yes. Natively no, you'll need to download the Blackmagic Camera app if the iphone X is compatible, use the iphone dongle plug on the receiver, plug it into the iphone X and in the options menu of the blackmagic camera app you can select the DJI Mic 2 as the mic of choice.
