“Do I get a notification/warning when the drone is about to die or does it just randomly die mid-air? I assume something would tell me the battery left or when it is about to die but I don't know. Can I set it up so I can see it on my phone live?”

Hi there, there is a smart low battery warning feature. The minimum battery level required for the aircraft to return to the Home Point is automatically based on the aircraft’s current altitude and distance from the Home Point. After the threshold is reached, the aircraft will give a warning, reminding the user to return their aircraft to the Home Point promptly. At this point, you can either cancel the warning or return your aircraft to the Home Point.
