It’s a good starter drone, lightweight for the regulations and portability. I travel with this drone here in Asia at the moment, and it’s very effective for simple clear videos and images I need for my vlog. A good 30 minutes battery life enough for a single flight, and I have extra batteries for traveling.

However, steadiness under wind or windy conditions not so great. I’d never flown a drone and am rather clumsy, but had it going in no time. Def start in wide open fields and resist the urge to fly hi right away. Watch some videos and learn before you go out exploring

This drone was perfect for that. The camera on it is amazing. And it’s very stable even in strong winds. I love that it automatically enhances the photos when you download to your phone. That process is very streamlined. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Awesome drone for the price. I’d say it’s a steal.

I use it to record videos of my jeep when I go off-roading and so far has not let me me down. One con the drone is the battery; I’d say lasts around 20-25 minutes after fully charge. Comes with replacement parts if anything breaks long with the tool necessary to install.

First big name drone

Very stable even in some winds. Pictures look pretty dang good. Its had a few small crashes but is holding up nicely. Battery charging is meh, so i ordered a 3 pack with a charger so i always have batteries. For beginners, this is decent. No collision detection , panorama, follow mode though.

- A:Answer To note: When I bought this drone for my grandson, I found out that the DJI Fly App was not compatible with my grandson Samsung A11 phone, So I had to end up buying a cheap used Google Pixel 3A phone for under 80 USD without cellular service just to uses a screen and connect to Wifi and download the DJI Fly App. As per your questions, In order to use all the functionality “Yes” a phone or tablet or IPad is required. Is it compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S21? It Requires to install the DJI Fly App and according to the DJI site https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly it says “Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S21” To ensure it works on your Samsung Galaxy S21, You would download the Android version APK pack from this same page https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly. Would connect after the app is downloaded? It’s really simple - You would first have to start up the Drone and Controller to connect to the DJI Fly app on your phone, And once they are started select the drone type in the app (DJI Mini SE) to launch and open the app. Could you explain the wifi/internet necessity to operate this drone?" This is a Wi-Fi drone so as long as you have wifi turned on that’s fine, But you don’t require cellular service to use wifi or for the internet. But you will need to be able to connect to the internet via wifi connection at home to download the DJI Fly App. Overall the drone is very simple to fly out of the box once you have downloaded the DJI Fly App and have plugged in your phone to the Controller and launched the app. I hope that helps.

- A:Answer I have many drones. Common sense. If the wind can blow hard enough where you see trees swaying. It’s too much. This being so tiny. No more that 15-20 miles and hour. I’m impressed with its stability however.
