DJI Mini 4K Drone
this is an excellent first starter drone for $300. excellent range, I have flown this Drone out 6 miles. If you are wanting obstacle avoidance you will have to spend more money & get the four mini 4pro. just be extremely cautious when flying, it makes you a better pilot not having obstacle avoidance. battery life varies depending on wind speed, what mode you are flying in. do yourself a favor, purchase the optional insurance, well worth the money it also covers a fly away.

Best drone! ( I returned it )
Very good drone I purchased this one before buying the most expensive model all are worth it DJI is the best brand and I am a certified drone pilot all comes down to what features you need and your budget and a little bit of research on Google
