Difference between S3 and S4 controllers (any ) null

No major difference, except that there is no SELECT button on the ps4, there is a touch pad which functions the same

Lights up in the front and it has a sturdier feel.

The PS4 has several differences: A- it acts like the "MOVE" wand for certain games, meaning you can physically move the controller to simulate movement in the game. B- Has a touchpad in the middle of the controller that would be used as an additonal controller feature in certain games. Ex In Fallout 4, this button allows you to cycle into Workshop mode in a camp to build out your headquarters. I am sure in different games there are more uses for this C- I notice more variety to the vibration/shock effects

DS3 is not ps4 compatible. DS4 features an updated design. Most notably Ithe has updated humbsticks, triggers, and new features. It is compatible with pc, ps3 and ps4. All around a better controller.

I believe s3 doesn't have the touch pad since its made for ps3.

the s3 doesn't have the touchpad in the center. the s4 doesn't have a start button. s3 does not have the light bar that the s4 does. s3 uses mini usb charging, s4 uses micro usb. there are many differences.

Ps4 controller has a touch pad. There are no "start" and "select" buttons. You now have "options" and "share". "Options is basically the same as "select" you go there to pause and save. The share feature lets you upload clips of your gameplay

They aren't compatible, the PS4 has more functions including sound and head phone jack and track screen like a mouse pad.

The S4 controller has the sensor pad where as the S3 does not. Other than that they are pretty similar.
