• Yes, this is for regular outlets. That is how I am using it with several LED lamps, chargers and power cords installed. First suggestion is to try it in an outlet on a known different circuit in your environment. Does it trip that circuit breaker too? If not then the first circuit breaker could be compromised. If yes, then I would suspect the new surge protector strip as faulty.
