The light will show red while you are charging the Dynex battery. Once it is fully charged the LED will change to blue. The light will stay blue until the capacity of the battery is below 25%, then it will turn to red again.

The red LED will blink when connected to a device and is running low. I had to test that to find out. Confirmed.
