- Answer You can use the cable that came with it to both charge the battery and charge your device. Connect to the Micro USB on the battery when you want to charge the battery, and connect to the USB port on the battery to use it to charge other devices.

- Answer There's two light indicators on the front that you can't see in the pictures (pin hole size), when it's charging there's one red light that illuminates on the front. When fully charged it will go out and the other indicator will glow blue.

- Answer Yes, the point of this object is to charge it and leave it in your purse, backpack, or pocket then when away for long periods of time, provides supplemental power to your phone when you don't have access to an outlet. When you are able to access one, you charge your phone and your battery backup again.

- Answer It’s most likely the charging cable for your portable charger. If it’s blinking red it means that it’s low on battery and it should show plain red when it’s charging and will light up blue or green when it’s full. Try using a different cable that is also micro USB or replace the cable if you can.

- Answer The light will show red while you are charging the Dynex battery. Once it is fully charged the LED will change to blue. The light will stay blue until the capacity of the battery is below 25%, then it will turn to red again.

- Answer Yes it does. When fully charged it will only charge your phone to about 50% from just about dead. So, if you will be needing the capability of keeping your phone completely charged, I recommend getting one with more capacity.

- Answer What type of directions did you need for it? The accompanying cable gets plugged into the micro-USB port on the device; the USB end of the cable gets plugged into a charging base or a USB port on a computer. The light is red while charging; green when fully charged. At this point, unplug it because it's ready to go. Take your phone/device charger cable, plug USB end of cable into USB port on charger, plug other end of cable into device you wish to charge. Congratulations, your device is charging.

- Answer It needs 5v DC. Unless you have a power converter that converts to USA 5v DC it wont work.

- Answer It will not damage the unit, but as with any rechargeable battery, it is not an ideal practice. A few times will not have a noticeable affect on the unit, but if you do this every time you charge it, you will notice that the battery life will decrease significantly over time.. same applies for any product with a rechargeable battery... Cell phones included.
