You can reverse the USB cable and plug the USB portion into the USB portion of your computer and plug the universal portion into the universal port of the charger

plug in USB part into computer or compatible charging device (e.g. phone's charging block), and plug in smaller end into port on device. make sure light is lit on device, thus it is charging. enjoy.

The supplied cable goes into the micro usb and the standard usb goes into any usb charging port (cpu/or usb to ac plug like for your phone)

Plug the small USB connector of the supplied cable into the smaller opening (labeled In5V1A) on the end of the battery pack. Plug the larger USB connector of the cable to a USB power supply or computer port that is capable of providing at least 1 Amp (not all of them can do this). The charging LED should turn on indicating that the Power Pack is charging.

You use any power cord you would use to power up your phone, but it does work on all phones the new more expensive ones like what my daughter has will not work.
