These speakers connect using speaker wire connections. In my experience, no TVs have speaker wire outputs on them. Your best bet is going to be finding out what type of audio out connections the TV has and finding speakers that also have that type of connection. Normally, computer speakers can connect to most TVs using the 3.5mm headphone connection.

You need an amplifier between your TV sound OUT and the speakers. So, no you CANNOT use these speakers to attach directly to a TV. 

All speakers are the same way, except AMPLIFIED speakers which these are not.
