They are not that great to look at, but for the price they are a great deal. Good balanced sound. Good for a surround system. I would recommend a separate sub woofer to widen the low base sounds.

I have been into audio for a long time, and I have a collection of small budget speakers. So, I had a $5.00 gift card that was about to expire and bought these to try out.These are small speakers and are best suited for small to medium rooms. The 4 1/2 inch paper cone drivers have a nice inter detailed mid range, and fast response. What little bass is their is clean as long they are played too loud. The tweeter blends in well, and was never hard sounding,overall they a good budget buy.
